One stop shop for Groundwater Information
The Department of Environment Water and Natural Resources has launched a one-stop shop for drillhole, bore and well information. Groundwater Data combines two existing systems (Obsdeck internet and the Drill Enquiry System or DES) so that all of the information can be easily found in one place. A range of people from farmers to real estate agents use the system and information can range from the number of wells in a particular area to the water quality in a certain location.
